Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow seeds in early spring indoors at 18ā22°C, or direct sow once frosts have passed. Lightly cover seeds and keep moist until germination in 10ā14 days. Plant out into a sunny, well-drained position ā Statice thrives in coastal conditions and tolerates dry spells well once established. Harvest stems for drying when flowers are fully open; hang upside down in a warm, airy spot. Well suited to all NZ regions.
