The Softest Blush in the Cottage Garden

Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow indoors from August onwards, or direct sow from October once the soil has warmed. Phlox prefers a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained, fertile soil. Sow seeds on the surface or cover very lightly — they need light to germinate well. Thin or transplant to 20–25 cm apart. Water regularly during dry spells and deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering. Performs beautifully throughout New Zealand and self-seeds gently in warmer regions.
