Yarrow Pastels Mix Seeds — Achillea millefolium
A Soft, Dreamy Palette for the Garden
The Achillea millefolium Pastels Mix is yarrow at its most romantic — a gorgeous blend of flat-topped flower clusters in soft creams, blush pinks, pale lilac, peachy salmon, and buttery yellow. Floating above feathery, aromatic foliage, these delicate blooms bring a gentle, watercolour quality to borders, meadow plantings, and cutting gardens from early summer right through to autumn.
Why Gardeners Love It
- 🌸 Beautiful pastel colour mix — soft creams, blush, lilac, peach, and pale yellow in one packet
- 📌 Long flowering season — blooms from early summer through to autumn
- 🐝 Outstanding for pollinators — a magnet for bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects
- ✂️ Superb cut and dried flower — the flat heads hold their colour beautifully when dried
- 🌱 Tough and drought-tolerant — thrives in poor, dry soils once established
- 🌾 Naturalises beautifully — spreads gently for a naturalistic, meadow-style planting
Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow seeds on the surface of moist, well-drained seed-raising mix — do not cover, as yarrow needs light to germinate. Sow in spring or autumn across most NZ regions. Transplant seedlings to a sunny, well-drained position once large enough to handle, spacing 30–45 cm apart. Extremely adaptable — thrives in coastal, dry, or exposed gardens. Cut back after flowering to encourage a second flush of blooms.
