The Pearl Yarrow Seeds — Achillea ptarmica
Pure White Elegance for the Cottage Garden
'The Pearl' is one of the most beloved cottage garden perennials — and for good reason. This classic form of Achillea ptarmica produces masses of small, perfectly round, fully double white flowers on upright stems, creating a frothy, cloud-like effect that is simply enchanting. A staple of traditional English cottage gardens, it looks equally at home in a wild meadow planting or a formal cutting garden.

Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow seeds on the surface of moist seed-raising mix — do not cover, as light aids germination. Sow in spring or autumn in most NZ regions. Transplant seedlings to a sunny or lightly shaded, well-drained position, spacing 30–40 cm apart. 'The Pearl' prefers moist but well-drained soil and will spread gently by rhizome over time. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat blooming through summer and autumn.
