Cynoglossum amabile 'Pink' Seeds (Chinese Forget-me-not)
A Soft Cloud of Pink for the Cottage Garden
Cynoglossum amabile 'Pink', commonly known as the Chinese Forget-me-not, is a charming and prolific cottage garden annual that produces a billowing cloud of delicate soft pink flowers from spring through to early summer. While the classic form is blue, this pink variety brings a warm, romantic softness to borders, cutting gardens, and wildflower-style plantings. The tiny, perfectly formed blooms are held in graceful arching sprays above grey-green, softly hairy foliage, creating a hazy, dreamy effect that pairs beautifully with almost everything in the garden. Easy to grow, generous with its flowers, and utterly enchanting — this is a must-have for any cottage garden lover.

Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow directly in autumn or early spring into a sunny or lightly shaded position with well-drained soil — Cynoglossum prefers to be direct sown as it dislikes root disturbance. Scatter seeds on the surface and rake in lightly. Thin seedlings to 20–30 cm apart. Plants are tolerant of poor soils and will self-seed gently once established. Deadhead spent flowers to extend the season, or allow to set seed for naturalising. Performs beautifully throughout NZ, particularly in cooler spring conditions.
