Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow directly into well-drained soil in a sunny position. Autumn sowing works best across most NZ regions, allowing natural cold stratification for strong spring germination. Scatter seeds thinly and rake lightly — these need light to germinate so don't bury them deep. Thin seedlings to 15–20 cm apart. Once established, they're low-maintenance and will reward you with weeks of spectacular double blooms.
