Growing Tips for New Zealand
Sow seeds on the surface of moist seed-raising mix in late summer or autumn for winter and spring flowering, or in early spring for summer blooms. Snapdragons prefer cool growing conditions and will perform best when planted out in autumn across most NZ regions. Transplant seedlings to a sunny, well-drained position, spacing 30–40 cm apart. Pinch out growing tips when young to encourage bushy, multi-stemmed plants with more flower spikes.
